I have been struggling mightily in getting this to work with the scripts
I have seen. I have an image map that uses overlib to display
information about a school's campus:
http://dcavello.phenominet.com/about/tour.php
I would like onClick to generate a series of thumbnails located directly
above or below the image map. Those thumbnails would then be linked to
larger images which would pop-up in a new browser window. Does anyone...

Hi all,
I have searched the internet for this but havent found what I am
looking for exactly, found similar items but I am not that familiar
with asp to go and do this myself. So here I am ....
I want a page where I will have an image gallery. The page when loaded
goes and grabs all the picutres in the directory and puts them into an
array, creating thumbnails for them as well (found this part in my
search).

Hello,
I am trying to open a window containing an image and I would like
the image to be flush against the window -- i.e. have no padding or
border. Can I make this happen with a single call to a window.open
function? I would prefer not to create a separate HTML page. So far
all I have is the basic
var cwin = window.open('images/KJV-THANKS.gif',
'Thanks', 'width=243,height=420,');
cwin.focus();

Begginners' question:
I am trying to make a small webform application that doesn't use frames.
The application is supposed to show some thumbnails on the left, and
whenever you click on one of them, the large image shows on the right
side.
The tricky part is when I scroll down the thumbnails and the big image
on the right stays on the top of the webform and is not visible anymore.
The solution I thought of is that every time the...

I have an app that has many subdirectories containing one or more
images (jpg, gif, bmp). When the user selects a directory, my plan is
to show the images if there are only one or two, or show thumbnails if
there are more and allow the user to click on each thumbnail to view
it full size.
Right now I'm just sticking an <IMG> tag for each image into a literal
control. It works fine but the images are huge which surprised me. I
really...

I have attempted to use the CSS techniques from two or three sites to
create a CSS only image gallery. I am muddling the affair by placing
the thumbnails in one float, the page text in another float, then
using absolute positioning (and z-index) to display the image over the
second float.
The CSS for the thumbnails is from "Web Accessibility At C-net.us" by
K Chayka (http://accessat.c-net.us/test/gallery2.html). The CSS to
display the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
