I have tied an AutoCompleteExtender to a textbox to indicate suggestions to
the user. Everything works fine if I utilize a webservice to fetch the
results. However, I want to put the web service code into a page method. I
have run the debugger only to find that the is never entered.
Here are some of the things I have already tried with no success. It appears
that this is a common problem.

I have a gridview displaying data and would like to use the AJAX dropdown extender so that when the user clicks on a record a dropdown menu will display providing the user with a menu of selections to choose from (yes much like the SharePoint 2007 dropdown menu).
I'm having problems dynamically binding the 'TargetControlID' property of the extender control to the record label in the gridview.

hi
i am using a ajax modal popup to allow the user to search an item and select
the required item from the list.
whenever i try to search the item, which causes a post back....the modal
popup disappears/becomes invisible...
in general, any postback fired from within the modal popup makes the modal
popup disappear.

Hi!
In ASP.NET 2.0, I have an ImageMap, but can't catch OnMouseOver events. I'd
like to pop up a panel (using the AJAX HoverMenu Extender or the Popup
Control Extender) when the mouse is over some hotspots. Unfortunatly those
hotspots don't have an ID associated to them.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Ben

editextender that provides a dropdown calendar and a text box for date entry.
On the same page I am using a sliderExtender control. Both controls work
but the problem is that the slider is placed below the calendar extender so
when the user clicks on the calendar image and the calendar appears, the
slider control appears mixed in with the calendar control where it...

Hello,
I have a text box on an .aspx page that an AJAX calendar extender is tied to. When this page is loaded the text box in question is populated with a date from a selected record. I've tried using the "SelectedValue" property of the calendar extender to populate this text box, but what happens is this text box retains the focus after the page is loaded, which causes the calendar from the calendar extender to appear. I do not want this...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
