The Web Project in VS 2003 is created in the inetpub.
But in VS2005 / 2008, they store together in the project / soluction
directory.
Now, when I am migrating, how can I ensure that all these files (in
the inetpub) are moved into the project directory.
More importantly is that I do not have inetpub in my vista and is not
allowed to install.

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Copy the bits from Inetpub to where you want the project to sit
NOTE: You can open from inetpub too, but this is wiser
3. Open VS 2008
4. Choose Open >Website
5. Find the folder
6. Click open
That is it if you are doing the local build thing.

After migrating my project from VS2003 to VS2005, the images in my aspx pages
don't show (only a red X is shown). But the images show up inside the Visual
Studio View Designer.
This is the aspx source:

Even the image I added after the aspx page has been migrated doesn't show
either.

I wrote a C# Windows app using VS2003 to read selected text files and write
the data to 3 tables in an Access database. After "upgrading" to VS2005, I
tried to add a feature and rebuild - what a can of worms.
At this point, the solution builds and runs, but if I open or restore
another window, program or application, the app will go to a "Not Responding"
status. Sometimes, it writes records, sometimes it doesn't. I'm really
