Hi I'm still having some problems getting my head round this language.
A couple of things don't seem to work for me. First I am trying to
obtan a count of the number of words in a sting, so am using the split
function with ' ', but how do i get it to take into account
punctuation marks such as ',',',' etc?
Also I am then trying to add contents of an array of strings to an
arraylist, but only if the string isn't already there. I was using...

I need to loop through a string and remove all characters except numbers or
letters. I am getting an ArgumentOutOfRangeException: "Index was out of
range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection"

Hi, I'm looking for a way to rename a whole directory of files in short
order. The files in the directory have different lengths, however all
of them end with _xxxx the x's represent a randomly generated number
from a program that I saved from. So I need to find a way that I can
quickly remove the underscore and the last 4 numbers from the filename

I have about 60-65 kb of data downloaded to the client which is
present in 3 dynamically created list boxes. The boxes are filled from
3 string arrays, which are just lists of people or companies in

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
