How can I get in the Load Event of the master file the name of the page that

Assuming you're talking about the filename, try:
System.IO.Path. GetFileName(Req uest.ServerVari ables("URL"))

note, however, that it won't be a perfect solution if you're using
Server.Transfer

After a failure, we promoted a slave to master. This included renaming the server to the old master's name and ip address, but leaving the server id alone. The new master works fine. We repaired the old server, gave it a different name and ip address but leaving the server id the same. I get the following error on the slave:

Hello, In classic ASP, I used to use two include files on each page, one before and one after the main content, to provide a consistent layout across a web site. That way I could just change the include files to change the layout. When I came to ASP.NET, I used user controls to do a similar thing. I have just been looking at master pages, and it looks like they do the same thing. If so, is there any advantage in using them over the...

Hello all, I'm very new to all of this. I have a theme and a skin (the standard ones). I have a standard master page which is holding a custom ascx which has a treeview in it. Can someone please point me in the right direction to bind a theme to the treeview? The 'theme' tag is on the <%@ page %> directive... however neither my master page or ASCX files use this. They use <%Master%> and

In ASP.NET 1.1, I have a base page for all my pages in an application. The base page contains some common properties that every page needs, the code behind file of every page looks like this: public class Home : MyBasePage { ..... } and in it I can simply refer them as base.MyProperty (or just this.MyProperty). This seems no longer possible in the ASP.NET 20 master

I have started a web site using ASP.NET 2.0. I would like to centralize all of my classes in a StyleSheet but I cannot figure out how to link the StyleSheet to a Content Page since there is no header. I tried to put the link tag in the Master page, but the classes are not recognized in the Content Page. How do I use a StyleSheet with the Content Page? TIA

Thinking of creating a website, most of the pages will have a general toolbar menu, a content and a footer. The content will be the only one who's gonna change but the rest (header, footer) will remain the same. I am interested to know your opinions/suggestions in finding an easy way of doing it. In asp one could have something like this:

Hi, I have done a fair amount of style editing inline in ASP. I'm now using VS 2005 with a standard web project (not Web Application Project). This is my first foray into CSS in a style sheet and also my first true attempt at using master pages. I tried setting up a style sheet with a simple setting to float an image to the right and it had no effect on the image. Then, I tried putting the style code in my ASPX file as such,

Hi! I have a problem with publishing my solution. I use “Use fixed naming and single page assemblies” to publish. So I just can update one and one file, this works fine, but today I had to update my master.page My master page is called “FrontPageMaster.master”. I have only changed some html in the master page and not done anything with the master.cs When I’m in the bin folder and update the file:

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
