Login and Sign Up from code to another website

hi
i am asked to develop web application to login and signup to another
website.
i tried using httpwebrequest and httpwebresponse class and achieved my
purpose of login.but i couldnt do sign up.
i tried some of the http analyzer to track the postdata when i signed
up manually to a website
usually there are chances that a sign up page may continue to two or
three pages
so when i specify the postdata for the first page i am not able to
create an account.
i find there are certain hidden fields with values which are sent
through the postdata
like
startFilling Time=11222121
FormFillingTime =83
Submit.X=55
Submit.Y=13
for every sign up these values are getting changed
i dont know how to attempt this task
have anybody tried this task or anybody have an idea about this
plz let me know
i think the whole part of postdata is causing me the trouble
this is really frustrating me a lot coz i dont get any reference
through the net
so the only hopes forums
plz try to help me
thanks
Ramona

I had this problem in the past, after a server reformat it went away, and now after another server reformat it's back again - no clue what's doing it. Here's the flow: Website root is public, no SSL no forms auth. One of the subfolders in the public area is the root of a "protected" area; SSL is required from this subfolder on forward and a web.config in the subfolder specifies forms authentication. From the public area, I provide a...

I am implementing a secure website using the ASP.NET FormsAuthentication model. I have taken the simplest code examples from MSDN (login.aspx,default.aspx, web.config) but cannot get proper behavior on my machine. As an unauthenticated user, I navigate to the website http://localhost/XXX. global.Authenticate_Request considers sending default.apsx but cannot find any authentication cookie in the Context object, so the request is...

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to have a web service that allows a user to login in to one site and then automatically be logged in to another website via a web service. This web service would have to save a cookie on the clients machine for identification. So here is a little algorithm to demonstrate what I'm asking. Sign in // http://www.mydomain1.com call login web service

I have a mobile web application running on a server at work. There is a strange thing happening though: 1) I can access and login to my mobile web app from any internet browser. (good thing). 2) I can access and login to my mobile web app from any Palm Treo web browser. (good thing). 3) When I use a regular mobile phone (samsung/motorola...etc) and load up my website on the browser, it takes me to the login page. Now, when I enter my...

Hi All, We have a requirement where we have to develop a custom Login Page which will accept user's NT credentials ( Username , password, domain name). This then needs to be passed to a website which uses Windows Authentication Now my question is how do we pass these credentials to IIS in classic ASP? Would appreciate any help/pointers on this. Thanks in advance.

Hi, all: I have a website with its own login page. Now one of my clients want their employees log into my website from their website. They want to have their login page (look and feel are different and hosted on another web server) and then send the user id and pwd to my login page. What is the best to do this? Pass the user id and pwd on the url is not a solution since everybody will see the user's credential.

I run a Joomla website and am familiar with php in some but not all aspects. Currently I am trying to find some solutions related to session handling. Am I correct in saying that "login" is kept in sessions? I can see active sessions in my mysql database, but is that the only place this information is stored? Sessions and cookies I know are related also, but how specifically (session info stored in cookies?)? Right now, when users...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
