Error opening a Word document hyperlink - Path 'OPTIONS' is forbid

I am trying to open a hyperlink that points to a Microsoft Word document in
my ASP.NET 2.0 application.

The error message is:
Path 'OPTIONS' is forbidden

I have researched this error but have not been able to identify the right
solution. I am guessing it has something to do with the mapping of .doc files
to the ISAPI filter, but I'm not sure. Currently I am running my application
via Visual Studio 2005, using the built-in web server (I'm not using IIS at
the moment).

Your help is greatly appreciated.

My php logs are coming up empty. I have done all I can think of, and all that made sense to me. Can someone take a look at my php.ini please and tell me what you think may be the problem. I double-checked the path to my error log. It is in /var/www/logs/php_error_log Thanks. :) -Wayne Stevenson

Good day, I created a form where one of its controls stores the hyperlink to a Word document. The form has a command button that opens the folder where the Word documents are kept using a RunMacro command. What I want to do is to get the path to the document and stored it in the control as a hyperlink.

Hi All, Sorry but I have to create new message since it cannot find the old message to send a reply. Coming back to this hyperlink thing I will try to explain the real problem cause I think we are going in circles. I have a continous form with a hyperlink field on it. Normally when you click on a hyperlink field Access will follow the Hyperlinkbase set in the database. This is for example in my case "I:\". However I have two different

If I do not have the indicated Word document open (on my Win XP Pro machine with PHP 5.2), the following will open and display it: <?php $path = "c:\\path\\to\\word\\document\\mydoc.doc"; $doc = new COM($path); $doc->Application->visible = true; ?> However, there will be several identical warnings (14 in number)

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
