Hi
I have written a code for showing the list boxes as selected using a
Listitem and the selected property of the items.
Now I have 2 list boxes in my page. But it shows only the selected values
of the last list box in both the list boxes.
If i reverse the calls to the filllistbox methods it shows the value
selected for the 1st list box in both the listboxes.
I have the code for my method below. Is there a way I can solve this
problem?

How do I change the selected item in a listbox according to a Combox's
selected item on the same form? The Combox is from a different table in the
same dataset as the Listbox uses. Combox's ValueMember is a ID that is a
column in the table that the listbox uses. Is there a way to link these 2's
relation so that when the user changes the selection in the Combox the list
box would automacticall changes to reflect the items that's linked to...

Iam new to VC++6.0.
I want to display selected item of the ListBox in a MessageBox. I know for
experience ppl it must be a kids play but for me who had worked in C# and

Can anyone write couple to lines of code for this?
Moreover, If I want to insert any element at the mth place of nth col in
list box of type Report. can I achieve it.
Thanks in anticipation.

I need to have a control (currently trying to use listbox) where the user
can have nothing selected if they choose. Any way to do that with a list box
or would I be better off with a RadioButtonList? Any other bound controls I
should look into?
Thanks!

Hi!
I'm using a standard server side ASP.Net listbox control on a web form.
The page is basically various shades of green. The listbox itself has a pale
green background and forest green text and a forest green border. However,
when you move the cursor from one item to the next within the listbox or you
click on an item in the listbox to select it, the background turns to the
standard windows dark blue with white letters. Well, that...

I've tried googling for the answer to this problem, without any luck.
I'm sure the truth must be out there somewhere!
I have a multiselect listbox populated with many items (set by the
RowSource property). In my code I cause a number of these to be
selected - but if the first selected item is not within the currently
visible range then there is no change to the display. This gives the
impression that nothing has happened.
I think...

I have two listboxes on an asp.net web control (ascx). I want them to
act non-mutually-exclusive. In other words, if an item in one listbox
is selected, I want the other to be clear.
The problem I am solving is that I have a listbox with active job
postings and a second with inactive job postings for my employer. I
want to be able to just use one button to pull the selected job
posting. Currently, this is impossible since a posting from...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
