Do you have the FrontPage Server Extensions installed with your IIS? If not
you must have them installed as VS uses the FP Server Extensions to
communitate with the web server. You can add them using the Control panel |
Add/Remove Programs | Add/Remove Windows Components. It will be a sub-item
under IIS so you'll have to check the IIS details to get it. It's also best
to go to windowsupdate to ensure that there haven't been any updates to IIS
that were over-written by some part of the FP server extensions.

In the helpfile it says to install the .Net Programmability support from Office setup or install Office using the complete option. Then select New Project in the Visual Studio 2003 IDE and choose the Microsoft Office System

Hello, I created a ASP.NET VB project on my local IIS server. Now we set up a new server here in the office with a SSL on it and would like to move the project there so I can continue development there. Is there a way to move the project from within Visual Studio? Are there settings on the new server's (MS Server 2003) IIS that I need to make?

The following article is directed at people who are experiencing an HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error while using Visual Studio 2003. The error message typically sounds something like: The web server reported the following error when attempting to create or open the Web Project located at the Following URL:http://localhost/Webapplication1’.HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error’. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
