Image Viewer

Hello All,

Could you please give me some leads on building a Image Viewer in .NET or
how to use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

The actual purpose is to display the image in my web application on the fly.

What sort of image format do you need supported? Are you simply
looking to take one image format which web browsers do not render and
dynamically convert it?

You can find Bitmap in the System.Drawing namespace which has support
for many formats.

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...ng.bitmap.aspx

You can see the supported formats here...

http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/lib...t_members.aspx

You may find what you need here...

I am trying to change the size of a drawing so they are all 3x3. the script below is what i was trying to use to cut it in half ... I get errors. I can display the normal picture but not the results of the picture half the size. The PHP I have installed support 1.62 or higher. And all I would like to do is take and image and make it fit a 3x3. Any suggestions to where I should read or look would be appreciated.

I have to display tif images using .asp page. I have tried to read the image as a binary file and stream it to the browser. The relevant code is as follows. Unfortunately, the display on the browser is a lot of gobledygook. How can I ensure that the image displays correctly in the browser? Dim objStream Dim FilImage, FolImage, strFilImage Dim adTypeBinary adTypeBinary = 1 Set objStream = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Stream")

Hi, Before I go on, let me just say I'm fairly new at this so excuse me if I say the wrong thing or use the wrong term. Anyway, what I am trying to do is to set up something where I can have a database of images and associated details. I want to run the system on a machine with a dual-head video adapter and have the Access window, showing a form, on one screen and an image viewer program on the other (the 'other' will actually be a...

I have a third party image viewer that can display various types of images. The image viewer is ActiveX and lives inside of Internet Explorer. To get the image viewer to retrieve an image, java script on the client looks something like this: VIEWER.GetImage("http://www.url.com/SomeImage.jpg") VIEWER.GetImage("http://www.url.com/SomeImage.tif")

Hi, We recently built a very basic file management system for a client in Access 2003 (to use with incoming tif scans). In it we used Microsoft's Document Imaging activex viewer (from Office 2003). The viewer seems to be a bit 'buggy', in that sometimes if you preview a tif image using the activex on a form, then goto another form, and then come back to preview the same image again on the first form, the preview no longer shows up...

I would like to add text to an image. I have tried to use DrawString and it works on some images but on others it is very very small. I am pretty sure it has something to do with the size of the image but I have had varying results on multiple images. Is there anyway to make the text a fixed size on the image. Similar to putting a date on a photograph.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
