I am trying to read in a bunch of images and manipulate them using
Image::Magick, then display them using Tk::Photo. I would like to do this
without creating a temp file for each image, since there can be quite a few
of them.
However, I can't make Tk::Photo understand the data returned by
Image::Magick's ImageToBlob() function. Here is the way I had hoped it would
work:
#!perl

Hi I have an issue when trying to stream blob image data from a SQL table to
a .aspx page. the code I have works for GIF and JPEG but the images can be
multiple pages and we would like them to open in a TIFF format.
But since there are invoices with multiple pages, we would like to open as a
TIFF format in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. (or default for TIFF on
client). Basically I need to stream this file to the client and then open in...

Hi,
I'm trying to make a slide show, with two frames: on the left frame small
thumbnails, and on the right frame the big sized image. Of course when the
user clicks on a thumbnail in the left frame, this image should be shown in
the right frame.
As I have a large number of pictures I don't want to have a separate page
for each picture, and use javascript instead.
I would like to use this in the left frame (see full code below):

Hi all,
I have an (well, what I think to be, at least) interesting question:
Is it possible to stream data down to the client and, after a certain amount
of data has been streamed, allow the client to begin interacting with that
data whilst still streaming data down?
Also, if it is possible, how would one go about coding this? Would some sort
of predfined bit of streaming be finished and notify the client (i.e. some
form of Javascript...

Hi
I am using Office Web Components to generate a GIF image, which i want
to display in a picture box.
However i am having a problem when i attempt to load the image into
the picture box. Firstly i was saving the image using the Chartspace
Export and passing the path to the PictureBox load, however i think
that the image is not saved properly before the picturebox attempts to
load it.

Hi all, is there a better way to stream binary data stored in a table in sql
2005 to a browser in .net 2.0? Or is the code same as in .net 1.1? We
noticed that in certain heavy load scenarios, every now and then the client
would timeout and have to re-initiate the request...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
