Number formatting

Hi

Is it possible to set global number formatting for an application? I
need to have all numbers displayed with thousands separators and that's
not currently the case. My desktop location settings are set with that
format.
I especially need this for gridview data. I can't figure out how to
apply such formatting without going column to column, which would take
me forever. Even so, I have some gridviews that use bound fields and
others that use template fields. Is there maybe something in the
web.config? Thanks a lot!

Here is my issue: I have a datagrid that is populated with a datatable. I want the columns of the datagrid to be sortable. I also want to format the numeric columns such as two decimal places or three, etc. The trick to this, is that String.Format offers powerful formatting functionality, so this seems like an obvious choice. BUT-...

Hello. Is there a method for computing the number of digits, in a given numeric base, of N factorial, without actually computing the factorial? For example, 8! has 5 digits in base 10; 10! has 7 digits in base 10. Is there a way to compute that information without actually evaluating the factorial?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
