I am creating a menu for my site and I would like it so that when the
onMouseOut even is triggered it will cause the cell of the table to fade out
back to the normal color with a delay.
Can anyone help me to get started on how i would accomplish this?

I inherited a simple page that needs to be Strict HTML and I'm not very
familiar with this standard. What I'm trying to do _should be_ pretty
simple so I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm trying to make a table with 2 columns split down the middle - simple
enough. In the past, without Strict HTML, I would just specify the width of
each 'cell' as 50%, but width isn't allowed in a <td> under Strict HTML.
Sometimes I...

VB.Net 2003 Standard -
Creating ASP.Net Web Application
In design mode, I can drag a html table from the toolbox to the work area
but I can't seem to be able to select individual cells or merge/split cells
in the table. If I hi-lite the cells (SHIFT-Click) and then right-click, the
merge cells option is disabled and the split cell option is nowhere to be
found.

Hi,
How come, there is no "split cell" functionality in vs2005?
Makes life a little difficult without this.

hi
i'm new to javascript. i'm hoping to get some help and find out if
what i want to do is possible and - assuming it is, get some tips on
how to accomplish the task.
ok - assume i have a table, the contents of which are dynamic. there
can be any number of rows in this table - somewhere between 50 and 500
would be the range. in each row - there can be any number of td's.
the relative 'width' of a td in a tr is specified by a td's...

Hello all,
I have a very simple html table with collapsible rows and sorting
capabilities. The collapsible row is hidden with css rule
(display:none). When one clicks in the left of the expandable row, the
hidden row is made visible with css. The problem is when i sort the
rows, the hidden rows get sorted as well which i don't want and want
to be moved (while sorting) relative to their parent rows. The
following is my complete html code...

I am a novice Perl programmer and need to change a perl script that I use to create web pages with thumbnail images and some text. Currently the script created a web page for each artist / category with all the thumb images below one another in the table. Thus the table has one column with a row for each image.
I am trying to change the script to have 3 columns in the table in the end (first testing with second column as in the attached...

I'm wondering if there is anything out there that discusses the above? I
need to be able to add and remove TDs and TRs to a table all the while
maintaining the overall layout. For example, if the table currently has one
row with 3 columns and the user wants to split the 1st column horizontally,
I need to ensure that the 2nd and 3rd columns have the 'rowspan="2"'
attribute. I can add/remove TDs and TRs easy enough. But I'm just not sure...

hi,
I found a jquery html table sorting code i have implemented. I am trying to figure out how to edit how many colums there are, but every time i remove code that I think controls how many colums there are, it crashes.
There are currently 6 columns, and I only want 4. How do I remove the last two (discount and date)?

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
