I need to publish site and I am having problems with VS2005.
When I select a file and press arrow to update. VS2005 hangs for a while. If
I click x to close the window - stop doesn't work- VS2005 gives me following
message:
"Could not find a part of the path
'C:\Documents andSettings\Shimon\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\WebsiteCache\PipeBizWeb\PublishState.xml'.
Any solution?

Is there any way of configuring VS2005's Publish Web Site feature to ignore
certain files? During day to day testing of our web-site, log files are
created that I don't want to deploy to the production server. However,
Publish Web Site copies these over and they have to be manually removed
before deployment. This rules out using FTP to publish because it would
overwrite the auto-generated log files on the live server.

Hello,
I have a simple console app for deploying an MS Access app. Recently, I
started having a problem publishing the app to my webserver with the
publisher feature of VS2005 when I do an update to the app. So I created a
"Hello World" in VB2005 for testing, and was able to deploy that app to the
webserver using the publisher, and it brings up Publish.htm. But when I try
to install the VBapp from the htm page, I get an error message...

Hello
I have set up a new windows server 2003 standard edition for training (on
new software we have developed) and am having problems publishing webs to it
from VS 2005. I have a C# Web Service and a test web site. I can publish to
other servers but not the one for training.
Notice that the message states that publish succeeded, but no files are
copied.

I have a large application that has one page with a GridView on it. The
application works fine on my development machine but when it is
published to the production machine and I bring up
the page with the GridView I get the Generic Error Page.
Problem in app, ......on server?

I can't run it on a Vista client PC.

I have an ASP.NET application that I have been deploying by using the publish
option on the project which compiles the project into a directory on my
machine. It has been working fine and then suddenly it is indicating
failure. I look in the output directory and all the files seem to be there.
When I use aspnet_compiler or simply compile the project in VS2005 there are
no errors. What is happening? How can I find out what is causing...

We have a C# windows mobile form application designed for PockedtPC 2003 developed in VS2003.NET with .NET 1.0/1.1.
Some of the mobile devices have been replaced with Windows Mobile 5.0.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
