A model page is a client side item. Your page would have to inform the
server that it was modal at launch time.

I have implemented a dialog box (an aspx page) using showModalDialog. Because the dialog needs to process postbacks, I have implemented it in a frameset. In the top of the framset page, I have defined a title as follows: <title>My Title</title> At runtime, the text in the title bar appears like this: My Title -- Web Page Dialog

Hi There, I have a user control with buttons on it which I use on a aspx page (parent page). On a button click, a modal dialog(aspx page) opens up and the user enters some info in the modal dialog and clicks the save button on it. The info is saved to the DB and the parent page is refreshed. Everything works fine but for some reason the page load is called twice. I have set the AutoEventWireUp = false on every page. Also I have load event...

Hi, I posted this earlier in microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet, but didn't get a response, so I thought I'd try here. Basically, I'm having a problem opening / downloading csv files when generated from within a page opened with window.showModalDialog( ) ( IE6 ). To isolate this problem, I've written 3 files (see below). 1. main.htm allows the user to open the page containing the link in a

Hi there, programming with Visual Studio 2005 and ASP.NET 2.0 I want to open a modal dialog from Default.aspx. I searched the net and many newsgroups but I couldn't find any solution. First I tried using two aspx pages with standard controls and all those post-backs and their attributes OnClientClick. Since this didn't work, i reduced it to a default.aspx page opening a pure html-page as a modal dialog.

Hello, can you open a modal page from within another modal page using ajax modal popup feature? For example, let's say you have a invoice screen, with a list of invoice details at the bottom. When clicking on one of the details, you open the invoice detail screen as modal. Now say the invoice detail screen has a list of comments at the bottom, can you then open this new screen as being modal to the invoice detail screen? Thanks

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
