Hi!
Suppose you're writing a module & writing the
definition of each function in that module in " or
""".
for example:
a) "This function does this & that"
or:
b) """This function does blah blah blah"""

I have a large form that is generated dynamically in a jsp using xml / xslt. So, to
break up this form into several "tabbed" sections, I break up the form using <div>
tags. Each <div style="display:none"> can be displayed by setting the style attribute
to "display:", or hidden with "display:none". This gives the illusion that the person
filling out the form is switching from page to page...without the overhead of extra
hits on the server,...

How much are you interested that the attribute "style" will offer the
same or similar capabilities like they are provided by the element
"style" in the element "head"?
Do you want that the document "Syntax of CSS rules in HTML's "style"
attribute" (http://www.w3.org/TR/css-style-attr) will become an
official recommendation in the near future?
Best regards,

Does the file extension matter when including a JavaScript file in an HTML
page?
Normally, one would include a JavaScript file in an HTML page using
<script src="foo.JS" type="text/javascript">
However, I have found that I can use an alternate file extension, such as
<script src="foo.HTML" type="text/javascript">
It works fine with my IE 6 and Mozilla. Will it work with other browsers?

Hi!
In my form I have table which cells contain input objects of type="text"
which initially are disabled. I would like to activate them by clicking on
them. However because input object does not support onClick event (or maybe
I am wrong?) I use onClick events of table cells. And it works as required
in IE 6. I click on the input object and the onClick event of the cell is
raised. But it does not work in Firefox (I have not yet checked...

I am creating an Excel workbook using VB.NET, and have run into a
problem. Excel at times insists on reformatting data that I enter
into cells, e.g., converting "01234" to "1234", and this screws me
up when I need to read the data back. When I run into this problem
using Excel interactively I simply change the cell Number format
from "General" to "Text", but I haven't been able to figure out
how to do this using VB.NET. Here is a code...

Hi, hope I'm posting to the right forum.
I'm using C# under .NET 1.1, Windows XP SP2
I have a form and I've overridden WndProc to print to a text box whenever it
receives the WM_NCMOUSELEAVE message. Under "Windows XP Style", I get these
messages fine (when the mouse moves off the title bar or form borders).
Under "Windows Classic Style", I don't get the message at all!
Has anyone seen this?

How do I add "background text" into MDI parent frame, the text will be now erased if I move the MDI Parent frame, or I can also erase text with moving MDI Child frame, need to somehow refresh the text, how to do it?
wx.FULL_REPAINT_ON_RESIZE style on MDI parent frame would help a little, but I would also need to call self.Layout() (and I still can erase the text moving child frame over the text...)

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
