In the following loop, at the end, the method debugNotes() is printing
out some notes for me to read, so I can figure out what is going on in
my script. Where I try to print out the value of the variable $noFile,
it is print "1" instead of "true". Why does it do this?
The loop is failing to run a second time, for reasons I can not
fathom. debugNotes tells me that the count of $dirArray is 10, and the
file hasn't been found yet, so I...

Sorry if this is the wrong forum...
Does anyone know what the difference is between a debug build and an
optimised debug build in Visual Studio 2003?

Hi,
when applying changes to the code and hitting to debug, a MessageBox
pops up asking me if I want to build before debugging. Of course I want,
that's why I've changed the code... Is there a simple way to suppress this
MessageBox in Studio 7 and to start a Build-Debug sequence immediately?
TIA,
Axel Dahmen

By default, Web.config has the following section:
<compilation
defaultLanguage="c#"
debug="true"
/>
note that debug="true"
There is a comment - also in the default Web.config - that states that
making debug="false" will result in faster performance but a loss of

We are in the process of moving from .net 1.1 to 2.0 and I dont seem to
be able to resolve this problem.
In VS2003 the Option Strict was swtiched on in the options menu and
this was stored in a project file.
In VS2005 there is no project file so this is now stored in the
web.config. My web.config shows this :-
<compilation debug="true" strict="true" explicit="true">

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
