Databinding Treeview to XML

I noticed that the checkbox property is not available in the databindings
editor for the treeview. Does that means that is not possible to databind
the checkbox property to an attribute in the xml file? Or perhaps it would
work creating the databindings programmaticall y?
Thanks a lot.

Reading the http://samples.gotdotnet.com/quickstart/winforms/ I'm trying to see the advantage of using "simple data binding". Let's say I have a treeview loaded from a collection called moList. On form load, the treeview is loaded. And I bind my textbox to one on the property txtLength.DataBindings.Add("Text", moList, "Length") On the TreeView1 click event, I add the following line : Me.BindingContext(moList).Position =...

Ok, so, say I have a database table with a text field and an ID (key) field, perhaps like manufacturer and manufacturerID Now using a dataadapter etc I can pull the data into a dataset/table I can then use a tree view for example to display this information mainly because each node can have a TEXT and a TAG value, so i can set the text to the manufacturer name from the database and the TAG to

Hello, When building a Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.TreeView with multiple XML files, all of the databound nodes of the tree are not loaded at once. When the TreeNodeSrc property is set for a TreeNode element, the contents of the node aren't actually bound to the XML source until the node is expanded. So, if the expanded node is bound to its data source(have TreeNodeSrc attribute) all its children are downloaded and rendered.

I posted this to the vb.data group, but have had no luck. I'm still very stuck on this problem...it seems the DataBinding works perfectly the first time an instance of the form is created. The instance is then destroyed and a new one is opened and positioning the CurrencyManager in the attached code fails, with no apparent reason. Any help, even just a general direction where to look is greatly appreciated. Typing in the specific error...

I am trying to populate a TreeView with XML data within a DataSet. I don't see the property DataSource in the treeview, only a DataBinding. Can that property to be used to populate my TreeView or must I brute force my way by added each row of my dataset to the TreeView? -- ----------- Thanks, Steve

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
