Reading the http://samples.gotdotnet.com/quickstart/winforms/
I'm trying to see the advantage of using "simple data binding".
Let's say I have a treeview loaded from a collection called moList.
On form load, the treeview is loaded. And I bind my textbox to one on the
property
txtLength.DataBindings.Add("Text", moList, "Length")
On the TreeView1 click event, I add the following line :
Me.BindingContext(moList).Position =...

I have a form with a treeview. This application is MDI. In the treeview we
show datas from database (not databinding). The application works in a
client-server architecture.
How can I achieve, if on any machine's any treeview somebody make some
changes in a node, then it appears immediatly in the other views, and on the
other machines too.
Please help me, is there any useful and simple idea? sorry for my english.
Thx: Baazska

In asp.net 1.1, the IE treeview web control has a property called
"SelectExpands" that, when set to true, expands a node when a user
clicks the node text. I can't seem to replicate this in the treeview
control in .net 2.0. Anyone know of way to expand a node when a users
clicks the node text?

I posted this to the vb.data group, but have had no luck. I'm still very
stuck on this problem...it seems the DataBinding works perfectly the first
time an instance of the form is created. The instance is then destroyed and
a new one is opened and positioning the CurrencyManager in the attached code
fails, with no apparent reason. Any help, even just a general direction
where to look is greatly appreciated. Typing in the specific error...

Hello -- I'm having problems figuring out how to bind an XML file to a
treeview control. I have the following test XML:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<instruments>
<instrument name="Name1" type="Type1" path="Path1" />
<instrument name="Name2" type="Type2" path="Path2" />
<instrument name="Name3" type="Type3" path="Path3" />
</instruments>

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
