I have a problem forcing files to download. If I select Save the document is
saved with no problems. If I select "Open" the document is empty or I get a
"File not found" error from the application opening the file...
Code:
function UTIL_ForceDownloadFile(strFileName, strFileSaveName)
Response.Buffer = True
Dim strFileSize
Const adTypeBinary = 1

Hello,
I am trying to open a window containing an image and I would like
the image to be flush against the window -- i.e. have no padding or
border. Can I make this happen with a single call to a window.open
function? I would prefer not to create a separate HTML page. So far
all I have is the basic
var cwin = window.open('images/KJV-THANKS.gif',
'Thanks', 'width=243,height=420,');
cwin.focus();

Hi,
on most (all?) browsers, when you put the pointer on a
<a href="..." title="popup text">this is a link</a>
without clicking on the link, there is a popup caption with the "popup
text".
I would like to achieve the same with some text that is not a link.
I realized that I could simply make it
<a title="popup text">this is just some text</a>

Hi,
I have a Javascript heavy application that I need to record stats from
for each click that the user makes. For all intents and purposes this
is a shopping cart application that employs a neat visual DHTML page
turning. This comprises an online brochure with all content loaded in
to client on page load.
I had to avoid requesting new pages so that I could use this fancy
page-turn feature hence the bulky use of Javascript.

image component wants an image url, unlike a picturebox which takes

Hi all,
I have a directory full of images (most over 2MB in size) I was to show
each image as a thumbnail on a form, however in order to create a thumbnail I
have to open the complete image then scale it down. This is quite slow,
since there is a lot of file IO going on, what I want to be able to do is
open the image in the scaled down size so that I miss out the step of opening
the file then dowsizing it. I have not been able to find...

Hi,
I am an ASP.net newbie.
I am writing a user control that is made up of datagrid with one of
the columns opening a new window to display some details on click of
the set image.
I have basically used ImageButton server control.
The problem is because I have used a server control with
runat="server",the parent page is posted back and even though the
window opens up,the focus gets set to the parent window.
What I want is,the new window...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
