Page Submission Events are called twice

We are currently facing a problem in our application – the page submission
events are getting called twice. It works fine in our local machines. As soon
as we release the compiled code to the testing server which is a vmware
server, we face the issue.
The postback happens, the Page_Init, followed by Page_Load is called and
once it executes the database call, Page_Init gets fired again.

From our logs of IIS we can see that, the page is being posted back twice.
We don’t have a clue as to why this is happening.

Also worthwhile to note is that AutoEventWireUp is set to false.

Right now we are stumped by this. Any response would be appreciated.

I have a web form "Page1.asp" and it reads data from a database, does some calculations, and displays the records in pages. Works fine. I have a button that displays on the page, defined as <input type="button" onClick="OutputData()"> The OutputData() function is a javascript function that simply does this: window.location = "Page1.asp?Flag=1";

Scenario: You have a page that is TOO slow to refresh. But it allows partial flushing of html contents. I.e. Submit button already appears but you don't want your users to click on it prematurely because other parts are still coming. Here I put a javascript the will enable only submit button only after 5 seconds after the page is load fully.

Hi, I have a standard aspx page (form) that contains a few user controls. Upon form submission the page is validated. If validation passses then a text based email is sent. This is all working fine, however what I would like to do is sent the entire contents of the posted back page as a HTML email. Is this possible and if so could somebody point me in the right direction to achieving this.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
