ASP.NET 2.0 JavaScript Konqueror support?

Hi all,

I was really surprised a few minute ago to see that my
pages which run everywhere fine don't do this on Konqueror
browser on Linux OS. The page at itself works, but ASP.NET
don't deliver the JavaScript-Code which is necessary to
run LinkButtons, AutoPostback and so on.

So, is this a bug - and does anybody know about a bugfix,
or have I to edit my own BrowserCaps like 2 years ago with
ASP.NET 1.x?

Regards, Thomas

Until you learn to create a konqueror.brows er file, to place in
drive:\WINDOWS\ Microsoft.NET\F ramework\v2.0.5 0727\CONFIG\Bro wsers ,
copy the Konqueror definition into the BrowserCaps section of your web.config:

http://slingfive.com/pages/code/brow...aps_spaces.txt

You might want to copy the other definitions there, too.

BrowserCaps is deprecated in ASP.NET 2.0,
although it will continue to work until the next version.

According to a recent post, it seems that Konqueror 3.1+ and Safari 1.1 support CSS3 opacity style property under a proprietary name: "Support for the CSS3 opacity (using -khtml-opacity) property. I am trying to develop very standards-compliant content using XHTML and CSS. I am using CSS positioning and thus need to only include my stylesheet on browsers I have tested to make sure they display correctly. The page is readable without the CSS though the formatting is not pretty, but browsers like Netscape 4.x bungle the positioning if I include the stylesheet, making it unreadable. I am using the JavaScript Browser Sniffer by Eric...

I have a big, complicated Javascript program that's doing some rather complex things. One of the things it really has to do is to wait for the browser to load something. Because Javascript is all event-driven, the closest I seem to be able to come is this: loadMyFile("http://...insert url here...", function () { alert("the file has loaded!"); });

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
