Where can I find information on Ajax?

Hello,

I am using Asp.Net 2.0 and I would like to use Ajax to make changes in
sections of my pages.
Where can I find information on ajax?

Should I use some kind of Ajax control?

Thanks,
Miguel

There are a lot of ajax projects for ASP.NET. here is a list of a few
that I know.

http://ajax.schwarz-interactive.de/c...e/default.aspx /
http://www.borgworx.com/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/anthem-dot-net
http://www.asp.net/default.aspx?tabindex=9&tabid=47

Hope those get your off to a start. There is a lot of developing
documentation for Atlas and has quite a few tutorials. Ajax.Net and
Ajax.Net professional has a lot of documentation on the site as well.
For anthem.net, I haven't looked at much, but you might find this
article http://www.codeproject.com/Ajax/AnthemNET.asp at Code Project
useful.

Hello, I am doing this: window.location="page2.php?subj="+subj+"&body="+body; to send information to another page. However, I don't want that second page to show up or display in any way. There is only behind-the-scenes work going on in that page.

I know I'm asking for a flamewar, and I really don't mean to because I love programming in C# and VB.Net almost equally, just as I enjoyed C++ 13 years ago and COBOL and Pascal 4 years before that. Now that you know my programming history in its entirety :)... please bear with me and read on. As a group of programmers, striving to make progress, we have gone absolutely no where. The questions I see posted here in this newsgroup are...

I have a little menu system which essentially takes HTML like: <div id='foo'></div> and retrieves foo.shtml from the server and inserts it inside the <div>. But sometimes I'd like foo.shtml to look like: <script language='JavaScript'> ...do something AJAX-y </script>

If you go to the ajax toolkit page at MSDN and hit the download button to download the toolkit it redirects you to: http://www.codeplex.com/AtlasControlToolkit/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=8513 On this page it says: 2007-11-19 release of the AJAX Control Toolkit targets the official release of .NET Framework 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
