setting an image-hyperlink width manually???

my gridview should display a column with an image which also is
hyperlinked...
No problem with:
<asp:HyperLinkF ield
DataNavigateUrl FormatString="~/Groups/Default.aspx?gr oup={0}"
DataNavigateUrl Fields="GroupID " />

but how on earth can I set the image width???

I can also use the Gridview's OnRowDataBound event to manually add the
image/link but still I cannot figure out how to add an Image (with the width
correctly set) inside a HyperLink control? Or the other way around - add a
HyperLink to an Image control?

I'm using PIL to generate some images which may be rotated at the user's option. When they are rotated, the original image is cropped in the new image (which is fine), and the corners are black (which is not, in this case). I can't find any documented way to change the default fill color (if that's what it is) for the corners, and PIL also doesn't seem to support a flood fill. I have created a flood fill in Python, which works but which...

I'm updating a record by opening a recordset, setting the fields and the updating it with objRS.Update. I need to set an image datatype to NULL. objRS("field") = NULL works for datatypes int and varchar but not for datatype image, although there is no error - the image field still contains the image! I'm using SQL server and running an UPDATE statement including image = NULL works.

I have a site where I am setting a style dynamically, using the JS statement: obj.style.backgroundImage = 'url(img/bak_page.jpg)'; where 'obj' is either document.getElementById(id), or document.all, depending on browser support. This works just fine, with just one small problem: I want to set the style ONLY for screen media, not for printer media; the above statement appears to

Hi, I've done a bit of reading on setting up an Isolated .NET environment for each of my developers. We all run Windows XP Pro, IIS and have local instances of SQL Server for development. I have a few problems that I am trying to work around. 1) All our sites are created using virtual paths. If I am to adopt the isolated model and develop on each developers machine, when you create

I'm working on distributing a database using VS Tools for Office, and am having trouble with linked images on forms/reports. The image objects have a default path\file set on the .Picture property, which becomes invalid when the user installs the database (ie: c:\devpath\ becomes c:\program files\mydbapp, but the .Picture property still points to c:\devpath\) The problem is that I don't *know* what installation path the user will select,...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
