VS.net 2005: Publishing website--url is not remembered

Using Visual Studio 2005 and have a website project in asp.net 2.0.
Everytime I publish it, I have to enter in the URL. Is there a way for
VS to remember this setting? It will remember it so long as I have the
project open. But if I close VS and go back in, it gets "amnesia"

VS 2005 Converted Header causing error when publishing After converting from Visual Studio 2003 to 2005, I have had several issues with a header that is used throughout the project. The conversion automatically created an abstract base class for the header in the Migrated folder of the App_Code directory. One of the major problems this...

Hello, I'm just starting to work with ASP.NET 2.0 and VS 2005. If I understand correctly, even if I precompiled my application, I still need to upload aspx.vb files to the server, correct? The way I did it in VS.NET 2003 - uploaded only aspx and dll files - no longer works, correct? At least it didn't work for me. Thank you,

I have written a VB.NET 2005 program using a MS Access database and a Datagrid control. The program works fine locally as an exe but when I come to Publish it (using the Click Once method and publishing to CD/DVD) I get a problem. The publishing Wizard works OK and produces the publication files but when I run Setup.exe I get an Unhandled...

I was developing a large web site in VS 2005 as a web site project. I was having problems with the VS 2005 publish tool. It was slow, and provided no feedback. It has other issues as outlined below. Here is my solution. I converted the application from a Web Site Project (WSP) to a Web Application Project (WAP). Go to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
