Issue in ASP.Net 2.0 Looks for 'dbo.aspnet_Che ckSchemaVersion ' when it should be looking for "'<MyDBUser>.as pnet_CheckSchem aVersion'

Membership API - I am using my own SQL Server.

On my hosted server i dont have dbo access. However seems like Its
hardcoded in the membership API to look for
'dbo.aspnet_Che ckSchemaVersion ' .

Is there a workaround to this ? I guess i probably need to write my own
custom provider ?

Internaly, when asp.net 2.0 access to DB with SqlRoleProvider ,
SqlMembershipPr ovider and others Provider call stored procedure using
"dbo." prefix ... it's hard coding in framework.. so, you what to use
standard providers... you must be dbo !

For a class, MyClass, there are two ways to instantiate an object: 1. MyClass *MC = new MyClass(); 2. MyClass MC; In general, when should you have to use 1 and when 2? What're advantages/disadvantages of using either? Thanks!

We've had a very large A97 app running fine for the last seven years. I've just converted to SQL Server backend, which is being tested, but meanwhile the JET based version, running under terminal server, has suddenly started running very slowly. The network engineer has thrown up his hands and said "It's Access 97". I've checked out lots of things including the Oplocks setting and other stuff from this NG, and I think I've done everything...

Hi, I wrote the code to test how CacheItemPriority.NotRemovable works: Cache.Insert("Time", DateTime. Now, new System.Web.Caching.CacheDependency(Server.MapPath("Test.txt")), System.Web.Caching.Cache.NoAbsoluteExpiration, System.Web.Caching.Cache.NoSlidingExpiration, CacheItemPriority.NotRemovable, null); When then Test.txt is changed, the cache item "Time" is unavailable,

Hi I just have one server that runs Apache, MySQL, PHP. It handles requests fine and never had problems. When should I think about a small step into scaling? By maybe having an independent MySQL server? How many QPS (Querys Per second) (approx) on the MySQL DB will it be optimal for me to have MySQL on a seperate maybe more powerful machine? The current server has 1GB Ram and intel duo core processors.. I know the question is a bit...

----------------------------------------------------------------------- FAQ Topic - When should I use eval? ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The ` eval() ` function should _only_ be used when it is necessary to evaluate a string supplied or composed at run-time; the string can be anything from a simple (but unpredictable) expression such as 12*2.54 to a substantial piece of javascript code. I have run into a situation that if a page/tab that uses the Ajax toolkit (using .net version 3.5) is closed before the Ajax enable controls complete loading, then IE locks up. Does it in both IE7 and IE8. There is no issue when the controls are allowed to complete loading. Can you please tell me the best practice that handles this? Thanks.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
