Hi Folks,
Does anyone know how to embed a file into a resource in C#? You
seem to be able to embed Icon, Bitmap, Cursor's & Strings. But how do you
embed a file???
In VC++ version 6 you would, Find the Resource, Load It, get its size, and
then write it out to where ever you want it.

Im creating my first 2.0 site and I cant find the Build Action property? I
want to embedd an image-file in my site-assembly but I don't know how? In
1.1 I could set Build Action to Embedded Resource in the properties pane but
this doesn't seem to be available any more???

i have a resource file (MyFile.resources) created using resgen.
how do i inculde it within my assembly? i have tried adding it to my project
but it does not get built into the exe, so i get a
MissingManifestResourceException when trying to use resources within it.
any ideas?

Hi!
I have a Webapp (c#) in VS 2005. I am trying to embed nhibernate xml files.
When I check properties of a xml file I only see "File Name" and "Full Path"
and cannot set build action to embedded resource.
Have anyone else seen and solved this?

I created an Asp.Net 2.0 web site in Visual Studio and I want to add an
image to the resource file.
I read that I should set my image's Build Action to EmbeddedResource.
However, when I right click on my image I can't see that option.

Since currently we aren't allowed to have compiled XAML files embedded in C++
apps I'm using Markup::XamlReader::Load to dynamically load XAML files. This
works perfectly fine with external files but I'd like to be able to load a file
specified in a .resx resource.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
