1. We have a web project that has a support dll that uses the following
command: HttpContext.Current.Application.ToString();
2. In our environment we must use a build process that runs from the
command line to get things into production, not the IDE.

Hi,
I am using resource file for multi lingual content web site. By default,
resource files are built into .dll files which is fine, but what I want is
that I can edit those content without have to re compile the whole projects,
so it means that I want those resource file to be pure XML file there for me
to edit.
Is it possible to do this?

Someone please help! I cannot for the life of me get a web resource in
asp.net 2.0 to return any content.
I know I have correctly embedded my resources (because I can manually get
the resources from my assemblies at runtime.)
The URLs I get back are valid (they throw no errors) but they return zero
content. I get a broken page from text/html resources and broken images, etc.

Hi,
We have a product with bunch of dlls which are now built with Visual
Studio 2003. We want to switch the build to use VS2005. I have read
that in VS2005 runtime libraries come as side-by-side assemblies and
that application has to have a manifest binding it to those assemblies.
My question is, can previously built apps use my new dlls build with
vs2005? It would be really important to make it work, because

I have some resources in my C# Visual Studio 2005 project that are
involved with self-test. Ideally, they shouldn't be in a released
product.
These resources are embedded by virtue of having their Build Action
property set to Embedded Resource.
Is there any way to add conditions to when they are embedded? For
instance, can I create a build configuration under which they are not
embedded?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
