Howdy!
I've googled and googled for this without success, and either it's so easy
that nobody has ever asked, or there is some serious reason nobody would do
this. But I'm going to ask anyway.
I'd like to move my ASP.NET session ID from the default cookie into the URL.
I tried the "cookieless" approach and it doesn't work for me for two

Problem with sessions
I have created an application without concern for sessions. As it turns out
I think that might be my undoing.
What I have:
I have an online quiz.
I don’t need to know users or save any data. If the application crashes or
user exits the program they should simply start again. Pretty basic.
All interactions are stored in an array (not much going on to save to a

I have created a smart device mobile application in VS.NET 2003 (C#). I also
have a web service written in C#. However whenever I call the web service
the Session variables have all been lost and the session id is different
every time. Is there any way I can fix this?
Thanks

I have an asp.net 1.1 app I wrote using the Mobile Controls.
I changed the timeout attribute in sessionState in web.config from the
default of 20 to 1440:
<sessionState
mode="InProc"
cookieless="false"
timeout="1440"
/>

Hi all, I have an asp.net 1.1 web app that uses mobile controls and forms
authentication. I recently added a "remember me" functionality, allowing the
user to stay logged into the site between browser sessions (the login page
makes use of the RedirectFromLoginPage method).
In doing so, I am getting an intermittent error:
"The page requires session state that is no longer available. Either the
session has expired, the client did not...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
