Your clock may be correct, however your "Time Zone" setting is not correct.
The time zone setting in the messages you've been posting show you at -0800
which is Pacific Standard Time (west coast of USA).

What you'll want to do is:
(1) Double click on the clock in your system tray
(2) Click on the "Time Zone" tab at the top
(3) Change your Time Zone to the correct zone
(4) After doing this, your system time will change to an incorrect time, so
correct the time

Thanks,
Ben

If your clock is correct, you have the wrong timezone set.

Fix it. You're future posting by 15 hours.

To be precise, you have your timezone set for -8:00
and, instead, it should be set for +8:00.

Look at the date in your last message :
Date: Mon, 7 Nov 2005 17:23:22 -0800

Hong Kong time is +8:00 , not -8:00

That's why you're future posting by 16 hours. Fix it.

I'm not quite clear on what you mean by "No credentials" access. Please

I have no idea what is going on. I have a Login screen where someone types in their login information and this populates a datagrid based off of the login. Works great in debug and test through VS, however, when I change to release and put it out on the web it fails giving me the following error message The underlying connection was closed. Could not establish a trust relationship with the remote server.

I don't know if this is a unique problem, or I'm going about it the wrong way. I currently connect to one of our SQL servers via a priviliged account (by using RUNAS). Works with no problem. I now need the ability to connect to the same SQL server using ASP. I have the following connect string, but I'm not sure how to specify the domain in the string, or is there some other way? <% Set demoConn =...

Hi, I'm using the DAAB Ent Lib (Jan 2006) for .NET 2.0, with VS 2005 Pro. My project is a Web app project (using the WAP add in). Background: I'm creating a survey system for our company, for which invites will target selected personnel among our customers via email. Each email will provide a custom hyperlink for each respondent using a SQL generated GUID value in the querystring. The GUID will be checked for validity before the user...

Hello All, Some time ago, I implemented a data access layer that included a simple connectin pool. At the time, I did it all by myself: I created N connections, each connection associated with a worker thread that would execute the db commands. The pool was fixed and all the connections were created when the db access class was instantiated. The connections remained opened during the whole execution. If a connection was not available...

I created a function to use DAAB return a datareader. The connection must keep opening when I consume the datareader. 1. I tested the function, it works. Even I use the datareader after 10 seconds. 2. DAAB document said that it manages the connection. 3. From .NET programming point view, no guaranty for the connection opens. Any suggestion? Thanks.

Hi, I'm having difficulty connecting my .NET web app to my SQL2000 database via the DAAB. I'm using VS2003 with .NET 1.1. I'm currently trying names such as Initial Catalog, Data Source, User ID and Password. But i have previously attempted server, database, user, uid, Pwd, etc. all to no avail. The user and password i've supplied do provide access to the database

I wrote an ASP.NET application that queries a SQL Server database (on a different box from the web server) and displays the result in a GridView. The datasource for the GridView is a SQLDataSource. Just to get it to work, I hard-coded the username and password of a SQL Server account in the connectionstring in web.config. Once I confirmed that this worked on the web server, I wanted to remove the hard-coded password from web.config, so I...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
