I am running IIS6 on a Win2k3 server.
I have an ASP.Net app (C#) that a user logs into and then I use
LogonUser to validate them and log them onto the server. I have
Windows Authentication ONLY checked on the site in IIS.
My problem is that eventhough I am using LogonUser to log on to the
server as the user, I am still getting the Windows Authentication
Challenge (login window).

After I gave up on tracking user sessions through the session object
(Session_OnEnd is still not triggered by Abandon() even with mode=InProc and
me manipulating session variables; in a new test project it is only
triggered the first time, it really sucks pretty bad) I started looking at

Is there a way of requiring a log in for individual asp.net pages rather
than securing a entire directory. I have a web app where there are 100+
pages but only 2 need to be password protected. I am currently using forms

Hi,
I have created a Logout ASP.NET application using Forms Authentication.
When a user logs out they get a confirmation page confirming logout and a
button to click to return to the homepage.
We have the page designed so that if the user is not authenticated then they
get redirected using Response Redirect method to the homapage.

I'm using forms authentication along with Master pages -- my authenticated
forms reside is a sub-dir (Secure) below the web site root dir. The problem
is that any graphics placed on the Master page do NOT appear in any of the
web forms located in my Secure dir, however, any forms off the root of my
web app will display the master page with the graphics.
Is there some trick to get master pages to work with forms authentication of
