i wrote a search page for my site (searching through a mysql database) but
when i type in more than one word (eg "item three") in the search field it
gets passed to the page as a single word ("item"). Are there any
workarounds for this? the code is below.( houseproudlancs.co.uk/search.php

Can I determine if an array of image links is already in memory
without using cookies or a hidden frameset? Scenario: visitor starts
with Home page, images (links) for navigation pre-load no problem.
Visitor follows search engine link and does not land on Home, thus no
links. But if I put the same code on every page to allow for that,
won't the images re-load every time those pages are loaded? If so,
there's be no point in pre-loading.

Hi all,
I have a simple aspx page. On the page there is only one button. When I
click on the button, the event sequence is Page_Load, Button1_click and
Page_PreRender. How do I supress the PreRender event? I know if I call
Server.Transfer or Reponse.Redirect in the Button1 click event, the page
prerender event will not occur.
Thanks.

Hi all,
i have an ASP.Net page where the user will enters his information and when
he hits on submit ,it prints on an pre-printed page ( like a bill of sale or
any other application forms)
Now my problem is this pre-printer page already has fieldnames name init ,
all it is expecting are the values that the user typed in the above mentioned
form. Also these values should go right in where the values are expected(
next to the field names)...

Hi All
Sorry for reposting...the entries of the post from 11/23/2005 by Eric
Lindsay have been removed from the server already and I am seeing only
the header.
So, I have the problem of including via SSI a plain text fixed width
table (separated by spaces) which of course gets treated as html when
doing that. I would like to have the blanks (and line returns) stay in
the file and then I could use courier new to display it properly. I

I know this is a somewhat rudimentary question but...
I want to display HTML code on an HTML page but I want the code to display
as text. In other words, I want the code not to be rendered as HTML on the
HTML page, but rather have it rendered as simple text.
This must be easy to do as I see it everywhere.
TIA.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
