I would like to be able to dynamically change the attributes of an <area> element in an image map. The following works in IE 6 and Opera 7: <map name="Map1"> <area shape="rect" coords="10,10,100,50" href="foo.html" id="area1"> </map> .... <script> document.area1.href = "bar.html"; </script>

I have 3 ASP.NET forms written in C#, I also have 3 frames (left, top and bottom) one for each form. My question is if I have data on one form in the bottom frame how do I access this data when I click on the button which is on the top frame? I want to save the data from the bottom frame to the database when a user clicks on the Update button. Does anyone have an example on how to do this? ...

Hey All, I was wondering if there were a way for a script to access it's parent tag without having to use the document.all.tags method which doesn't necessarily identify it if there are more than 1 script tag in the document. eg. <html><body>

Hello, I want to show the result of some JavaScript on an HTML page. I've had a look at some threads and it seems the conclusion is the following - javascript entities are usable on the right-hand side of attribute/value pairs (with some appropriate syntax involving curly brackets and ampersands) and, furthermore, this only works for attributes of "link type" html elements. If this is the case then I'm a bit stuck, but I'd like to...

I add several JavaScript events (onchange, onkeypress, etc.) to Controls using the Add method of the Attributes collection. However, if the JavaScript code contains certain characters, such as & or < or several others, it converts them to html, such as &amp; or &lt; which can sometimes cause my scripts not to work. How can I prevent ASP.NET from doing this? Thanks. -- Nathan Sokalski njsokalski@hotmail.com http://www.nathansokalski.com/

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
