Need a reliable ASP.NET hosting provider

Can anyone suggest a reliable hosting provider?

Our current provider has been experiencing a lot of down time lately.

I'm looking for an ASP.NET hosting provider that:
1. allows remote SQL Server access using Enterprise Manager and Query
Analyzer
2. high uptime
3. phone technical support (preferably)

Thank you

I've been using hosting.com for a few months for an ecommerce app and I've
found their customer service to be pretty good. I can't access SQL Server
remotely using Enterprise Manager, but I can use RDC to log into the
dedicated server and use Enterprise Manager there. Not sure if that would
suit your needs, but it's worth checking out I guess.

Dedicated server or shared? That has everything to do with how reliable the
server is, how much access you have to it, and how valuable a customer you
are.

Worth checking out webhost4life.co m. You can get at sql server, the uptime is
v. high in my experience, and no phone support afaik but the online help is
very fast and accurate. I've also not seen with them the high worker process
recycling I've heard about at other providers.

Anyone out there using beta 2 in production situations? Comments on stability? I am rolling out a project in the next 4 weeks, and really don't want to go though an upgrade soon after its released on an Unsuspecting Client, so I would LIKE to start working with 7.4. -------------------- Andrew Rawnsley President The Ravensfield Digital Resource Group, Ltd.

I am new to this so please go easy. We currently have some students doing some work on some web based tracking documents for us. They are currently using VB .net to develop what we requested. Anyway I've been calling my local ISP's and no one supports .net it seems to be all apache and MySQL. I'm wondering if everyone here can answer a few questions. 1) Can I run vb .net web pages on a regular IIS server without the .net extensions? 2)...

Hi everyone, I am new to PHP and I am trying to learn about using PHP to connect to a MySQL database using PEAR modules. My current web hosting provider compiles the PEAR modules into PHP so the code in many of the books I have been using will not work. So I have 3 questions: 1. Is my web hosting company doing something unusual? 2. Can anyone recommend a web hosting company that uses PHP5, MySQL and PEAR in a Linux environmnet?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
