Popup - passing values with a JS confirm

aaa
I am at my wits end I an trying to pass a couple of values to a page with a
UC (parent) from a popup (child). But only after a JS confirm on the child
popup. Seems straight forward. I have only been able to get half working on
either side but not the whole package. I have tried full client side JS, I
have tried RegisterClientS criptBlock ( think this is the more viable
option ). Any help would be appreicated.

I have a popup window (required by the client) containing a form and would like to prevent users from accessing it directly. They are instead required to access the page via a hyperlink on another page. HTTP_REFERER, while not completely reliable, would serve the purpose except for another problem. The hyperlink points to a JavaScript function which opens the popup. This yields HTTP_REFERER worthless. My other thought was to create a...

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if there was a way to pass a variable to a popup window. The purpose is make it so when a user clicks on a specific region/link of the glossary page, a popup opens with the related description. This is done and is obviously not a concern. However, now I would like to make it so the corresponding row becomes highlighted (changes background colour via DOM). I imagine it can be done, but I'm at a loss for...

Hey, all; Apparently, I'm missing the concept. I'm writing a web app in perl to manage nagios configuration files. One of the things I'd like to do is to confirm an update via a popup window prior to writing out changes. My first whack at that goal isn't working out too well. I have the following javascript in one of the pages:

Hi, I have the following problem. To fill a textbox in one page, I call a popup window with the choices. And when I click OK in this popup window, I need its data to go directly to the text box in the page that called the Popup. So far I call the popup with a "window.open('SeleccionDirectorio.aspx',...etc)" code. And use a session variable to store the choice the user made in the

I don't know if this can be done. It is a coordination with my client side vs my server side code. I can create a popup fine: Dim myNextButton As ImageButton = CType(DataList1.Controls(DataList1.Controls.Count-1).FindControl("DownQuestion"),ImageButton) myNextButton.Attributes.Add("onclick", "return confirm('Are you sure you want finish this test?');")

Hi - this was posted last weekend and unfortunately not resolved. The solutions that were posted almost worked but after another 5 days of working on the code everynight, I am not further ahead. If you do have any ideas I would really like to hear them. Thanks Colin - 0 - 0 - 0 - I want a glorified popup/context menu on a button that shows only when

Apparently you can only do this with one value i.e Call MyAssetLocationZoom(Me!txtLocation, "Amend data") This runs; Public Sub MyAssetLocationZoom(ctl As Control, formName As String) On Error GoTo err_zoom strFormName = formName

Hi Everyone, I am very new to this, so I'm hoping someone can help. I have a form with buttons that a user can click. What I need to do is that when a user clicks a button, before the form submits, I need to show a popup window with a drop down list of values which were returned from a MySQL query. And, the value selected will help drive the next page shown to the user.

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
