How to manage "Input Image" controls and the 'Enter' key

I am developing my website in C#, and making all buttons "Input Type=Image",
because I want rollover capabilities. They work perfectly, as long as the
user is using the mouse.
I have one web page that has 3 different buttons. I would like the enter key
to default to a specific button (or one specific function). How do I do
that?

Hi all, I was trying to make an image submit button with a rollover and discovered to my suprise that there is no way to access a form element of the "image" type. I tried specifying it by name and also by the elements array with no luck. Even weirder, I can sandwich an image button in between other input types and then write a script diplaying the contents of the elements array and it acts as if the image button does not exist at all!...

Is there a way to load an image locally (in the client) when a selection of a file is made using input type=file. The purpose is to allow selection of a file and put the image in the browser without loading the reloading the page. I thought about 1. putting a function call in the onchange event of the html input

If I have an Input of type image, it is not listed in the Forms elements when walking to DOM using MSHTML. Is this expected behaviour and how would I get the image input to submit the form NOT using document.form.submit?

I created a for with file inputs (<input type=file.../>) I named them file1, file2, file3 etc. How do I access them in the code behind without actually calling each one by name (there are 21 of them). This is what I have so far. Strangely I get a error some of the time, I have not isolated it because I can't get it to go to debug. The code below kind of works about every 3rd one gives me an error and I can't get it to go to debug! I get...

Hello, I have a page which I am converting to use themes. The page has an HTML <input type="image"> element that is used to post to another page. I would like to replace this with a server control so I can add a skinid. I tried adding runat="server" and the skinid to the existing control, but that didn't work. Any other ideas? TIA --

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
