need to create sql dynamically

Hi,

I remember in classic ASP when you had a webpage with a large number of
textboxes and you needed to perform an update sql statement you could loop
through all of the fields and dynamically create a sql statement. I have a
webform with over 200 textboxes and I need to perform a sql update. Is
there a way to do this in ASP.NET?

Thanks,

Andy

You can still loop through the Request.Forms collection. I'd arge against
this, given that this will probabaly leave you open to a SQL injection attack.

Here is a function that allows you to loop through all the textboxes in a
..NET form:

Hello, I create a Table1 dynamically at run time, and at the same time, I would like to create LinkButton controls, also dynamically, and insert them into each line in my Table1. I would then like that, when clicking the LinkButton, the user can be navigated to another page, carrying a variable. I would like to use server.transfer method instead of QueryString as I don't want the carried variable to be visible for the user.

Dear all, I need to build a web application which collects data from an SQL server database. SQL server database tables fields can be dynamically created or extended depending on my customer request and can be different customers to customers. Ideally what I would like to build is a web application frame which covers any request and display any data. This without rebuilding my application but more by applying a kind of configuration...

I need some advice on handling dynamically added controls in a GridView. My app takes an uploaded CSV file containing addresses, converts it to a DataTable, databinds the DataTable to a GridView, accepts information via dropdowns embedded in the first row of the GridView about which incoming fields should go to which database fields, and writes the data to the database. The incoming data has an arbitrary number of columns so I create...

I help manage a large web site, one that has over 600 html pages... It's a reference site for ham radio folks and as an example, one page indexes over 1.8 gb of on-line PDF documents. The site is structured as an upside-down tree, and (if I remember correctly) never more than 4 levels. The site basically grew (like the creeping black blob) ... all the pages were created in Notepad over the last

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
