Shouldn't I be able to call a function from inside foo.js later in that
same document by doing something like this:

Hi,
Newbie wondering if it is possible to call an ASP.NET 2.0 WebService from
javascript that isn't served up on the same server?
For example, I would like to call the WebService using an XmlHttpRequest
object, but it appears that I can't just run the webservice using because
the calling javascript doesn't know about the client proxy js right?
So how do you do this if you want to call the webservice from a javascript

The intention is to call a stored proceedure which sets flags in the
database, this requires no parameters and the page does not need an
output from the stored proceedure, though is this is necessary I could
change that.

I'm a bit new to asp.
What I'm looking to doing is having three input boxes on a page.
As an example I would like for the user to input a employee ID in the
first input box and then wither press enter or onblur it would call a
proceedure that would get data from an access DB and display the
employees first and last name in the other two input boxes.

domain.
I don't care what the binding is. I'll use what works.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
