There's a Crystal Reports hot fix for a particular but
that I am experiencing in .NET -- DIV's get screwed up
when you embed a Crystal Report in a web page. The bug
is ADAPT00170558, the patch is 35395142.
There's absolutely no documentation on a work-around, and
the patch from CR is for version 9 only, not for .NET.
Anyone know how to fix this aweful problem?

I have a transaction log file where the DataSet table's Description column
is actually delimited into "subcolumns" based upon the transaction id. I
would like to parse these into separate fields for reporting purposes and am
wondering if anyone knows if this is easily accomplished using the .NET
version of Crystal Reports?
For example, the description column may be reporting on a dataentry error as
follows:

My Crystal report .RPT file has a Picture box which is an OLE Object located
in the Page Header section of my .RPT file.
This is the call which works perfectly in VB6 to format the crystal reports
Page Header section of my report file EquipLst.rpt.

I am using (trying to) CR version XI, cascading parameters feature works it
asks user to enter params. But if page is resubmitted. It prompts for params
again. I did set ReuseParameterValuesOnRefresh="True" in a viewer, but it
still doesn't work. Did anyone run into this problem. What's the solution?

Can any one help me out to call a crystal reports designed in 8.0 version in
ASP.NET ?
Crystal reports has given an asp page called rptserver.asp from which we can
call the crystal reports in ASP and it is working fine in ASP. After
converting this to ASP.NET it is not working. I am getting an error "CRAXDRT
Error Occured on Server 13 - Type Mismatch".

I am getting mixed messages from the asp.net website hosting providers - some
say they do not support Crystal Reports due to a $25,000 per cpu licensing
fee, others say all I need to do is install Crystal Reports XI (about $500)
on a dedicated server and it will run fine.
Will Reports developed with the embeded Crystal Reports in VS 2005 run in a
Crystal Reports XI environment?

In my current application, when the user logs in, the state variable
called "role" is assigned to them, detailing what they can do and what
they cannot do. This variable follows them through the entire
application (It is assigned using Session("role") = "xxx").
Problem is, when I run a crystal reports RPT file, I lose the session
