Hi all,
I am trying to use a regular expression validator to check
for the existence of PO Box in an address textbox. The
business rule is "No addresses with PO Boxes are allowed."
What I want to happen is the Regular Expression Validator
to return false only when the string contains PO Box.
Currently it is false even when a valid address exists.

I created a regular expression and I used the following regular expression:
{1,1000}
I used \091 and \093 to indicate that "" are valid characters, but
it seems to ignore those values as it will not allow me to enter those
values into the field where this reqular expression is associated.
How can I tell it to allow these characters to be keyed?
Also, I tried to use a bind expression such as ValidationExpression=<%#

I am in need of a regular expression that tests and fails if there are 14 or
more of a character in the test string. There can be up to 13 of these
characters in the string and any other characters, but at the 14th of this
character it should fail.
Thanks,
Todd Meister

The issue at hand, I believe is my comprehension of using regular
expression, specially to assist in replacing the expression with other text.
using regular expression (\s*) my understanding is that this will one or
more occurrences to replace all the white space between with a comma.
This search
ElseIf InStr(1, indivline, "$") Then
insert a replace statement that uses the regular expression to find and
replace all the white space...

I'm using regular expressions to extract some data and some links from some
web pages. I download the page and then I want to get a list of certain
links.
For building regular expressions, I use an app call The Regulator, which
makes it pretty easy to build and test regular expressions.
As a warning, I'm real weak with regular expressions. Let's say my regular
expression is:

Hi,
Consider the following string:
<div>whatever text goes here, and maybe it
contains a carriage return and/or line feed
and it spans in multiple lines</div>
How am I supposed to write an expression that returns the div's
content?

If the following line will force the user to input only a number
between 1 and 5, and will give an error to any keypress outside that
range:
onkeyup="if(event.srcElement.value.search(new RegExp('^$')))
{alert('Please type in a number between 1 and
5');event.srcElement.value='';return false}"
.... how could I get the regular expression to accept 1 to 5 *or* the
Enter/Return keypress? I have tried ('^$') but that doesn't

I need to create a regular expression that will match a 5 digit number, a
space and then anything up to but not including the next closing html tag.
Here is an example:
<startTag>55555 any text</aClosingTag>
I need a Regex that will get all of the text between the html tags above
(the html tags are random and i do not know them before hand). The match
string always starts with at least 5 digits.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
