Where are the great .NET shopping carts?

Max
I've been searching for a year for a good dot net cart or a set of
components, and have been really discouraged. Is everyone just fed up with
half-attempts of 3rd party carts that they've just developed their own from
scratch?

The biggest problem of course is usually formatting. These carts list
products all wrong, or the check out process has something out of place that
cannot be changed without altering the code so much that upgrades are
impossible. Components end up being only partially used by the developer and
more work is required trying to fit those into the project than doing it
from scratch.

So, who here has some experience with some good carts or components. It
really does look like I need to just start from scratch here.

Here are some I've found to be unusable:
dotnetcart.com
aspdotnetstoref ront.com
storefront.net
asp.net - Commerce starter kit

Many clients want changes made to shopping carts. I have always had a lot of trouble trying to modify osCommerce and Zen Cart. Does anyone know of any commercial shopping carts that are easy to customize? Thanks. Bob

I have had two clients recently ask me about shopping carts. I have also been using PHP on a more regular basis and thought I could find an open source shopping cart such as oscommerce. It seems as though oscommerce requires "register globals" turned on. I know this is a bad idea. Also my hosting company won't turn them on (not that I would want that). This got me thinking about a few things and I was wondering what others experience on...

I need something simpler and easier to understand as I need to customise them for my own needs. I'd like to know what the basics are of having a shopping cart in Javascript.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
