Hello all,
I am writing a script where I need to use the system() function to call
htpasswd. I can do this just fine on the command line...works great
(see attached file, test.php). When my webserver runs that part of the
script (see attached file, snippet.php), though, it doesn't go through.
I don't get an error message or anything...it just returns a "1"
(whereas it should return a "0") as far as I can tell. I have read the
PHP...

Hi,
Can anybody tell me if it is possible to add your own headers through this
class.
The documenttion seems to be a bit ambiguous, for example the overview of
the methods says
Specifies the custom headers that are transmitted with the e-mail message.
but the property is read only

I am creating MailMessage out of already existing email message.
My existing message has few custom properties. I wan to add them to
System.Net.Mail.MailMessage
How to add custom properties?
I was thinking adding custom properties to
System.Net.Mail.MailMessage.Headers. but it's a READONLY property.
System.Net.Mail.MailMessage has few header fields as properties (eg:
FROM, TO, CC) and these are not sufficient.

Hi all,
I'm using the System.Net.Mail namespace to set up a SMTP sendmail. This
works for the most part, however, when I try to send email to a cell phone
text msg. via the Verizon 'vtext' Gateway it fails with a 550 relay error
msg.
I've had this problem in the past with Delphi/Indy SMTP component. The
problem there was that the component was blacklisted by Verizon for previous
use by spammers. The fix was to get rid of the...

Hi folks,
HELP!!!!
My habitual use of mail() is causing me some grief. I am having
slightly different results depending on the server I use but the gist
is that mail() is returning 1, and I can send mail to yahoo.com,
gmail.com, and hotmail.com no problem. 100% success.
Same script from some servers gets mail through to cox.net addresses,

Hello everyone,
I am trying to use the mail() function to send a simple, text-only
message. I have two websites hosted by the same company, on different
servers. One is old and established, one I am currently developing.
I am testing the mail functionality by sending a test message to an
email account associated with my old website, and to my hotmail
account. The message seems to be sent to both accounts, and I receive
the message on...

To anyone that can assist me: I deeply appreciate your help!!
I am developing an application with an outside vendor. The vendor has
a very odd requirement. They need custom X-Headers added to an email
received by their system. That's not the odd part. The oddity is
they want to have a single X-Header containing multiple keys and
values that are delimited by a carriage return, line feed and tab.
The vendor claims other customers...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
