I want to submit the form to the server without opening another page.
When we do the following, it will submit the form data in myform to
the IIS, and open page2.asp.
<form name="myform" action="page2.asp" method="post">
But I don't want to open another page, I just want to submit the form data.
Should I do the following??
myform.submit();

When people say submit the form data, does it mean the form data are
submitted to web browser using either HTTP GET or POST method, and then it
will redirect to another page.
For example, this is page1.aspx
<form action="page2.aspx" method="post">
means it will submit the page1.aspx form data to the web server, and then
redirect from page1.aspxto page2.aspx?

The script below will disable Submit button until user accept terms,
and will redirect user to another page after clicking on Submit
button.
The script seems to work fine on my PC (Windows XP, IE6), however I
don't know if it's written well. I would like the opinion of someone
who knows how to write these codes properly. Please let me know if
there're any logic errors.
PS: Please keep in mind that I didn't write this script, I found it

I'm trying to write a program in vb.net to automate filling out a
series of forms on a website. There are three forms I need to
fill out in sequence. The first one is urlencoded. My program is
able to fill that one out just fine.
The second form is multipart/form-data. Unfortunately, I haven't
been able to fill that out in a way that makes the server happy.
I set up a copy of this form at my web site so that I could see
exactly what a...

Hi there,
I am building a form where the user must upload a picture and fill in his
details.
Now I have a problem as all of this is on the same form.
How will I be able to have the Browse button to open the "file browse"
dialog
and the Submit button to submit the form data.

Hi all,
I have used the following code for doing the form
submission. I don't think this is a right way to submit a
from to a new aspx page because I need to add a dummy form
in between.
Could anyone tell me a proper way to do this?
Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!

Hi all,
I'm using pywin to write a script that will commandeer internet
explorer to go to a certain website, where it will navigate menus, post
forms, and eventually retrieve certain data.
Here's my question: Suppose a form has more than one submit button.
Now the COM 'form' object has a 'submit' method that doesn't take any
arguments, so how do I tell it which button I want to press?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
