Shouldn't this code do it on a Win2k3 box.
Set oMsg = Server.CreateObject("CDO.Message")
oMsg.From = "address@domain.com"
oMsg.To = "address@domain.com"
oMsg.Subject = "Subject"
oMsg.Body = "Body"
oMsg.BodyFormat = 1 '1=Text, 0=HTML
oMsg.MailFormat = 1 '1=Text, 0=MIME

Hi there,
I can't seem to find any info on this error message that's generated when
sending email with CDO:
"The pickup directory path is required and was not specified"
Does anyone know whether the cdoSMTPServerPickupDirectory field of the
Message object defaults and whether it's normal to have to set this value
explicitly. My W2K workstations and servers function OK without this

Hi everybody,
The following code for sending email (found on msn I think) works find
when used in a .VBS file. I double click the file and the mail is send.
When I use the same code in my .ASP application I get the following
message:
"The pickup directory path is required and was not specified"
Where to specify that directory?

I am trying to send SMTP mail:
I have the following code which works fine on one domain, but not on other. It does not work until I remove the Message-ID: line, than it works just fine.
Here's how I removed the Message-ID line:
I stopped the SMTP service (so I could edit the mail file in the Pickup directory), ran the program to send the email, than I edited the file in the Pickup directory and removed the Message-ID line from the...

I am using MailMessage (CDOSYS) to send emails. I would like to turn off the
SMTP service (it's on the local machine) and look at the emails in the
pickup folder before they get sent out. However, since it is connecting
using the port, I will get an error if I turn off the SMTP service. I need
to configure it so that it writes the emails to the pickup folder.
I've done quite a bit of digging, and found some references to...

Hi,
I created an ASP page for sending email messages. I'd like to write
these messages directly into the C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup directory.
The problem is that when the IIS SMTP is active writing is not
possible... How can I do?
Thank you very much in advance

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
