REunning IIS on own Computer work - StandAloneServe r denies access

When I use localhost as Webserver I can access everything.

But running another Webserver on a seperate Computer in the network - I can
open or create projects.

As I understand the Standard-Access on NTFS handles the access. But why can
I create a new project on that other computer webserver (alsways UNC-error).

How can I prepare the Websever to allow VStudion.NET to crate on projects?

Whe I assemble project on locahost and copy the file to the other computer
webserver it doen work - but I want to work on that othe computer webserver,

Here's my situation: I'm typing this in a public library on a computer with OS windows 2000 server. I can run Internet explorer, word, excel and powerpoint, that's it. Maybe java, but it seems to be flaky. I want to run python scripts from this computer. At home I have a multi-computer network (from better times) but no internet access anymore, I could use this to try out solutions. I also have access to a friends computer which has...

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the most adequate mySQL list for this post. If not, please indicat me which one I should use... I'm using Tomcat 4.1.24 with Apache 2 and MySQL 4.0.13. I have the mysql- connector-java-2.0.14-bin.jar in commons/lib. The application runs normally, and usually about once or twice a day I get this exception org.apache.commons.dbcp.DbcpException: java.sql.SQLException: Server configuration denies access to data...

Suddenly a stored procedure, very much like several others, is giving EXECUTE permission denied on object 'Add_Adjustment', database 'InStab', owner 'zhoskin'. server:Msg 229, Level 14, State 5, Procedure Add_Adjustment, Line 18. I'm zhoskin. I am the dbo and created the procedure, and when I look at its properties, I have EXEC permission. Line 18 is just the return statement. The values are all appropriate for the table. So what is...

I must be missing something very simple. I've had a web site running for a long time (anonymous access). Web.config authentication is original (anyone gets in): <authentication mode="Windows" /> <authorization> <allow users="*" /> <!-- Allow all users --> </authorization> Now I added a html subdirectory that I want to only allow certain windows

Tried this on microsoft.public.access.gettingstarted - no response - perhaps more appropriate here. I'm not a database user, simply helping someone get started with a new computer. The old computer (win98se) runs a database in MS Access 97 pro, with all the attendant permissions etc. I can work on the database without problems, once I've opened the file with the requisite user name and

One of the users in our departmental db has Read/Write permissions to a particular form. He was able to access and edit the form at will until 2 weeks ago. His current problem was that he was not able to edit the data (no message ever appeared telling him he could not change any data). The only change to the db since he experienced the problem was that a new version of the db was made available for installation which everyone has now...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers.
