Error Starting Reporting Services Report Manager Beta2 - ASP.NET I

I believe this is an ASP.Net 2 framework problem because the ASP Admin
Service fails to start with the message - "Error 2 - The system cannot find
the file specified"

I get the following error trying to start Report Manager after installing
SQL2005 beta December CTP. I installed side-by-side with a full SQL2000
implementation on Windows 2003 Server:

Server Error in '/Reports$SQL2005 ' Application.

Hi, I have just reinstalled Reporting Services on win 2003 server that was added to a domain and has been renamed. Two strange things happen: 1) In IE I am prompted for an ID and password with a basic security prompt. 2) After supplying the credentials I get some of the report manager web page but it has a 401 error instead of the folder and options to manage projects. The page looks like this:

I am asking this question here because I asked this question in the Reporting Services Newsgroup and did not get an answer. Does anyone know if Reporting Services is intended to work in a client/Server or Local machine environment? Based on what I have seen my guess is yes but that is a guess. In some materal it talks about it running on a web server but my supposition is that this does not necessarily mean that it would not make for a...

C# .NET 2.0 I've got a Windows Service that works exactly as I expect it to. However, it does rely on a few Configuration settings. If the customer doesn't configure it correctly, the service shouldn't start. So I've put in some try...catchs, but what I'm not sure how to do is not allow the service to start. If attempted to start with the NET START command, throwing an exception keeps the service from starting, but the message...

I am not sure if this is the right group, but my question is related to C#. I have a report in which the second parameter is dependent on the first one. Thru reporting services manager, I see that first dropdown box is filled with correct values, I pick one value then it calls the stored procedure and fills the second drop down box. So, everything is working fine in manager. My problem is that I am using report viewer. In report...

I am using Reporting Services and Report Manager under SQL 2000 to deliver a very wide report. This will not export to Excel 2003 due to 256 column limit , even when Excel 2007 is present , this still reports a 256 limit . Is there any quick fix for this without neccessarily going to SQL 2005

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
