Passing multiple form references to a class in asp.net

AM
Hi All,
I am trying to implement paging for datalists on all webforms. I have a
classtest with some functions. The code works fine with webform1 but my
query is how should i pass the references of all webforms to the class.

Here is some sample code:

Public Class WebForm1
Inherits System.Web.UI.P age

Dim ob As New Classtest
ob.XX = Me
ob.previouspage ()
end class

Public Class Classtest
Public XX As New WebForm1 '
Public Sub nextpage()
End Sub

Public Sub previouspage()
End Sub
End Class

Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks

The code below worked in VS 2003 & dotnet framework 1.1 but now in VS 2005 the pmID is evaluated to "" instead of what the value is set to: .... xmlItems.Document = pmXML // Add the pmID parameter to the XSLT stylesheet XsltArgumentList xsltArgList = new XsltArgumentList(); xsltArgList.AddParam("pmID", "", pmID); xmlItems.TransformArgumentList = xsltArgList;

I want to show a dialog and when the form (dialog) is closed, return to the calling form. The calling form should then be able to pass the child form to another object with the form as a parameter. For example, FormOptions formOptions = new FormOptions(); if (formOptions.ShowDialog(this) == DialogResult.OK) {

Last time I tried to explain this on another forum it didn't go too well, so I'll try my best and if you know what I'm talking about then please tell me how to do this. I have a class, inside I have some public functions and private variables. Inside the class I also have a declaration of a new form object. One of the functions of the class takes that form object, shows it with showdialog and the basically passes the control to the form...

hi, I am having a little problem passing in reference of my calling class (in my ..exe)into a DLL. Both programs are C# and what I am trying to do is pass a reference to my one class into a DLL function. When I try and compile the DLL I get "The type or namespace name "MyForm" could not be found. I think I have to reference the class but since the DLL needs to be built before the EXE it looks like I have a chicken and egg type problem....

Hi Guys, Just wanting some opinions on best method to approach this. I am working on an Access97 db and we have two forms and an ADO connection object to contend with. The desired state is this- first form has the functionality for the user to choose an MDB file to connect to, the user does as such, and the ado connection object is set up and the connection is opened.

Hello. I had a class that worked, but I knew wasn't designed correctly from an OO point of view, so I changed it so it was more like I thought it 'should' be, and now it doesn't always work. Works most of the time, but not always. At first, I had an object variable declared in a class, and everything worked fine. Then, I figured I should really have 2 classes- one wrapping the other. I need my object in both classes, so I passed it as...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
