I have an AccessXP(A2000 mode) customer who says on one form the navigation buttons do nothing when he clicks on any of the 5 but the navigation buttons work on other forms. In my copy of the database the navigation buttons work fine in the problem form. I have confidence in what he is telling me! Because of distance, I can not go on site. Does any one have any thoughts on this? Thanks! Steve PC Datasheet

I am having some trouble with some old code revolving around custom form navigation buttons. My main form has a sub-form with these custom navigation buttons. In other words, the code should be modular and work across forms and sub-forms. My previous code was taken from the Access Expert Solutions 97 (Leszynski) many years ago. As my database became more complex with multiple sub-forms and intricate combo boxes, the code faltered. Some...

Is there any way to disable the client browser "Back" and "Forward" buttons while on my site? Or how would I go about knowing that a page hit is caused by a back/forward navigation? I have discovered that my web app is definately NOT Back/Forward safe. It's really messing with my SQL data bigtime. Thanks.

Howdy, Saw a couple threads from the past few years on this topic, but didn't really find any solutions. Here's one I found: http://groups.google.com/group/comp.databases.ms-access/browse_frm/thread/f6ccff0186d12566/ That fella wanted to do pretty well the same thing I did (use a command button to move between records in a form). Moving from record to record

I have a simple application, that I use the built in navigation bar. I set the add and delete buttons enabled property to false, and it looks good, until.. Once I click on the arrow to navigate to a different record these two buttons re-enable. I have the save button enable set to false and it seems to stay. Just these two buttons (add and delete) re-enable themselves. If anyone could shed some light on this i would really appreciate...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
