Hello.
I am working my way through Zhang's "Teach yourself C in 24 hrs (2e)"
(Sam's series), and for nested loops, he writes (p116) "It's often
necessary to create a loop even when you are already in a loop." Then he
goes on to portray a contrived example that doesn't tell me under what
conditions a nested loop might be favoured as a solution? i.e. what are
nested loops useful for? What kinds of algorithms are served by nested
loops?...

Hi. I'm trying to make some event handlers for buttons that are nested
within datalists, however I keep getting errors trying to access them and a
blank page shows w/o any real error message. How can I access these nested
controls correctly?
For some reason I always have to use a foreach loop to search for a control
within a control. Using FindControl() from the top level does not work and
returns a "reference not set to an instance...

Very, very strange problem. In developing a C# ASP.NET
application, every so often, DataLists disappear from the
build. They remain visible and rendered (though
sometimes dropping properties and event handlers) but do
not seem to be included in the build (and are
consequently not rendered on the web page). I've looked
into the problem throughly, comparing output library
sizes and it seems as though DataLists (all datalists on
a page)...

How do you use findcontrol method to do that?

Hey guys....I tried Googling and search these forums before posting but
couldn't find really what I was looking for. I'm looking for a very simple
example or tutorial on how to nest Repeaters in VB.NET. It seems everything
that I'm finding is in Csharp or is just incredibly complicated using VB by
decalring a dozen classes and such (too complex for my simple brain).
I already have my two queries written and the HTML structure written...

The application I'm creating consists of a DataGrid with 3 (at this
point in time) DataLists nested inside of it. One of the columns is for
the the latest version of the product and the other is for revisions to
that produce version. So the database table would look something like
this for any given item with revisions:
ItemNumber - Revision
A - 1
A - 2

Hi All,
Thanks for reading my post. I have been working on getting nested
datalists working properly wihtin my framework for many days and I
think I'm almost there. See if you could help me get over the hump
here.
Some of our products come in different sizes - i.e. what I call
"units". Some products don't. I successfully created the first
datalist (called productList) to show our products with their general

Can someone please explain how onclick works with nested, absolutely
positioned div containers? I would expect, when several divs are on
top of one another, clicking on them would trigger an onclick event
for each div. But it's not working that way. Take a look at the
attached file. Clicking in the center of the "orange" div, I would
think, would trigger an alert for all five of the divs. In fact, it
doesn't even trigger one for the...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
