Hello all,
I'm trying to do some form validation on a form that collects its data into
a multidimensional array, and on submitting that re-writes the values as
hidden form elements (a form that keeps adding submitted values to a
multidimensional array).
However, since the hidden form fields have to be identically named to the
visible form fields, I can't make my JavaScript return an error if the field
is blank because there are...

I tried using the "toUpperCase()" property to change the value of an array
entity to uppercase BUT it tells me that the property is invalid. It seems
that an array is not considered an object when it is assigned a text
literal?? HOW can I change the array value to upper case then? What other
method exists for arrays?
Ex:
var GridArrayName1 = new Array();
GridArrayName1 = new Array ('test-value');
GridArrayName1 = GridArrayName1...

Hi,
I've been playing about with array's, and found the concat operator
'||' quite
useful, apart from the fact that prepending an element places it in a
lower subscript.
Is there a way of either:
a) prepending an element, but shifting existing elements up a subscript,
so that the lower bound remains the same?
eg: 1 ||> ARRAY -- new operator ||> shift array and prepend

In a web page, I have a script that splits a stream of data into an
array like so: Msgs = MyText.split("|");
How can I find out how many Msgs were created?
I've tried UBound in various ways but can't get anything to work:
var UB = UBound(Msgs);
var UB = Msgs.ubound;
Help?

an text field to upper case using C. The configuration id utf8

If you create an array using Array.CreateInstance() and use a lower bound >
0, you apparently get an array of the wrong type.
int lenghts = new int {1};
int lowerBounds = new int {1};
string ar = (string)Array.CreateInstance(typeof(string), lengths,
lowerBounds);
Throws an InvalidCastException because "string" cannot be casted to
"string".

I'd like to get the upper bound index of an integer array. I've tried the
following:
Dim i as Integer
Dim arrayIng() as Integer
i = arrayIng.GetUpperBound
This doesn't work. It seems GetUpperBound behaves more like a function in
that it wants a passed parameter. Is there not a property similar to VB6

Hi,
I know that this issue is indeed strictly operating system dependent
but I am just curious:
I have a five dimensional array, whose size sums to 68 MB (almost).
This array is contained by class X. When I simply attempt to create an
instance of that class, I get segmentation fault.
I am working on Solaris (which has 8 KB pages ). What may the case be?

ONU (Optical Network Unit) is one of the key components for providing high-speed Internet services. Its primary function is to act as an endpoint device located at the user's premises. Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
